Fraser
Named for John Fraser, an original homesteader in the area and one of the first trustees of the Belmont School, Fraser Community League is located north east of our community, bordered by Victoria Trail, 153 Ave, the Anthony Henday and 144 Ave NW.
Hairsine
The area of Hairsine was named for the first mayor of the town of Beverly. Their community league is found to our north, and includes the communities of Hairsine, Kirkness, Clareview Campus and Ebbers (Manning Village).
Homesteader
The community of Homesteader was named for an Anglican minister. Their community league is located south of our community borders, and includes the communities of Homesteader, Overlanders and Canyon Ridge.
Belvedere
Once part of the village of North Edmonton, Belvedere is bordered by the railway, 137 Avenue and 66 Avenue on the west. This puts them west of our borders.
Bannerman
The area was named for H. Bannerman, who settled in the Belmont area in 1883. This commmunity is found to our north.
Steele Heights
Steele Heights is located to our north west. It is included as part of Area 17, and includes the communities of Kilkenny, Evensdale, Lago Lindo, Londonderry, McLeod and Northmont.
Horsehill
Horsehill Community League services the neighbourhoods of Brintnell, McConachie, Cy Becker, Quarry Ridge, Pilot Sound West, Gorman, and the rural North East.
Edmonton Evergreen
Edmonton Evergreen Community Association (EECA) was established in 1982.
